 NATIVE LANDS TOUR - April 20-27

This spring, join me and a group of no more than ten participant photographers for a unique experience photographing in some of the most beautiful, sacred and cherished Native lands in the Southwest, including Chaco Canyon, Shiprock, Monument Valley, Valley of the Gods, and Canyon de Chelly.

Lodging provided from Saturday, April 20 through Friday, April 26, ground transportation, meals included, professional photographic instruction included. (Lodging accommodations double occupancy 4/20-4/26, single occupancy available for an additional $500.) Participants will meet in Albuquerque early Sunday, April 21, returning to Albuquerque Friday afternoon, April 26.  Price: $2,700, does not include airfare, alcoholic beverages, New Mexico sales tax.  Deposit $300, fully refundable before March 15, 2019. Balance due April 1, 2019. Cancellation notification must be given in writing. All major credit cards accepted.


Saturday, April 20 - Travel day, hotel and late group dinner in Albuquerque. Overnight in Albuquerque.

Sunday, April 21 - Meet at 8:00 a.m., and drive from Albuquerque to Chaco Canyon, photograph until sunset, then drive to Farmington. Overnight in Farmington.

Monday, April 22 - Photograph at Shiprock, drive to Monument Valley, photograph sunset at Monument Valley. Overnight near Monument Valley.

Tuesday, April 23 - Photograph in Monument Valley and in the Valley of the Gods. Overnight near Monument Valley.

Wednesday, April 24 - Photograph sunrise in Monument Valley, then drive to Canyon de Chelly, photograph Canyon de Chelly, including sunset. Overnight in Chinle. (Note: In Canyon de Chelly we will be led by a local guide.)

Thursday, April 25 - Photograph Canyon de Chelly. Overnight in Chinle.

Friday, April 26 - Photograph sunrise Canyon de Chelly, drive to Albuquerque, arriving at approximately 2:00 p.m..  Providing we arrive in Albuquerque in time to do so, before checking in to our hotel we will ride the Sandia Peak Tramway to the top of Sandia Peak, overlooking the city from some 12,000 ft. For those who are not flying out late Friday, the group will meet for a closing dinner.  Albuquerque hotel Friday, April 26 and closing dinner included in tour price. 

Saturday, April 27 - Travel day for those participants not flying out Friday afternoon/evening.
